This 2-day course covers both Broadcast Server and OnDemand Server
server components.
On day one, Administrators will learn to install and configure
Broadcast Server for Windows NT, the technical specifications and
cross-platform compatibility issues, administration procedures,
and information on related files and database tables.
Day two provides a conceptual product overview, installation instructions
for Windows NT, and implementation ideas for OnDemand Server. Students
learn to deploy Brio.Insight and Brio.Quickview for use with OnDemand
Server, integration with Brio.Enterprise Server, and information
on related files and database tables.
In this class, students will learn:
- Explain the Brio.Enterprise Server architecture
- Describe functionality of the Broadcast Server and OnDemand
Server
- Install and configure the Broadcast Server and OnDemand Server
for Windows NT
- Administer Brio.Enterprise Server using the Server Administrator
application
- Explain the database table requirements required to implement
Brio.Enterprise Server
- Describe how OnDemand Server and Broadcast Server integrate
with each other

- Broadcast Server 6.x and OnDemand Server 6.x
- BrioQuery Designer 6.x
- Brio.Insight 6.x
Prerequisites:
- This course assumes that the audience has the skills learned
in the following courses: Fast Track to Query and Analysis 6.x,
BrioQuery Designer 6.x
- Experience using database applications and the Windows NT operating
system
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of data warehouse design principles
- Target Audience: IT administrators implementing Brio.Enterprise
Server 6.x in a Windows NT environment
