Summary Tables
- Goal is to pre-summarize data to meet 90% of user queries
- Most queries are for year-to-date totals and balances therefore summary tables are year-to-date
- Use Triggers and Stored Procedures to maintain Financial Summary table. When a new record is loaded the summary table is automatically updated.
