Brio Mid Atlantic Users Group Meeting - Wednesday, October 8, 2003Thanks to the NRECA for hosting this meeting:National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) 4301 Wilson Blvd., Conference Center 2 (CC2) Arlington, VA 22203-1860 Agenda:
Brio will discuss what the Hyperion acquisition of Brio means for the Brio user community. For more information visit http://www.brio.com This is free code that gives Brio developers and administrators the ability to catalog what databases, schemas, tables and columns their Brio documents are using. (This has been rescheduled from our July meeting) Download zip file of presentation and sample documents A command center is a single BQY that is used as a central point to perform all actions on all other BQY's or a series of BQY's. It allows for freeflowing communication between itself and other documents using session variables and temp files which are generated any number of ways depending on your specifications. This allows for the complete customization of the user interface to the Brio reports on the OnDemand server without the time consuming process of customizing all of the HTML, JavaScript and so on used by the OnDemand server. Since the deployment options are so vast, it can also be used to solve problems such as resource-intensive reports tying up a users machine, standardizing shareable output as PDF to avoid the need for freeview distribution, and the need for basic user training for interaction with OnDemand server documents.
